We’re Invested In Keeping Your Vehicle

RUST FREE

We start with a high-temperature steam cleaning process using a powerful
alkaline detergent to strip away road salt, grime, and buildup.

This allows us to fully clean the INSIDE and OUTSIDE of your frame,
suspension, and those hard-to-reach areas most shops overlook.

After drying, we apply Fluid Film® undercoating to stop rust
in its tracks and protect your vehicle long-term!

What Is It and Why We Use It?

  • Fluid Film® undercoating is a lanolin-based formulation that not only slows existing rust on contact but also provides excellent protection for new vehicles. It penetrates metal while displacing surface moisture, creating a fluid, self-healing barrier that remains active and will not chip or crack.

  • Whether we’re treating a vehicle with existing rust or using it as a pre-treatment on new vehicles, Fluid Film® protects exposed metals from the corrosive brines used on roads during wintertime, ensuring long-lasting protection.

Which Areas Do We Treat?

We use Fluid Film® to help protect the most crucial areas of your vehicle from corrosion and rust. Our treatment covers:

  • Frame Channels

  • Suspension Components

  • Rocker Panels

  • Doors & Fenders

  • Battery Terminals & More!

Our comprehensive treatment ensures your vehicle receives protection in all vulnerable areas.

Why Undercoating Matters

Corrosion is one of the most damaging threats to your vehicle. Consistent exposure to harsh
elements like salt, brine, and high humidity can lead to the rapid deterioration of your
vehicle’s metal components. This not only affects its appearance and decreases
its value, but can also lead to hazardous safety issues.

That’s why we recently purchased a new high-power steam washer to provide a better service
to our customers, while also making our lives a lot easier by having nice quality tools to work with!

Frequently Asked Questions About Undercoating

Does Fluid Film® Stop Existing Rust?

L
K

Fluid Film® penetrates into existing corrosion and slows its progression by blocking oxygen and moisture…the two elements rust needs to spread. While it doesn’t reverse rust, it helps preserve the metal and prevent further damage.

How Often Should Fluid Film® Be Applied?

L
K

We recommend reapplying Fluid Film® once per year for the best protection. Because it remains soft and active, it gradually wears away in high-exposure areas. An annual refresh ensures continuous protection against salt, moisture, and corrosion. And as always, refresh treatments are 50% off you bring it back within a year!

Is Fluid Film® Safe For My Vehicle’s Plastics, Wiring & Other Components?

L
K

Absolutely. Fluid Film® is non-toxic, solvent-free, and safe on typical automotive rubber, plastics, and electrical connections. It can even help protect these components from corrosion and deterioration.

Will The Undercoating Drip or Make a Mess?

L
K

Fluid Film® is a non-hardening coating that penetrates and protects rather than drying on the surface like paint. After application, you may notice light dripping for a short period as it settles into seams and cavities. This is normal and actually shows the product is working its way into hidden areas. We carefully control application to minimize this, however occasional drips can be easily cleaned with soap & water.
